Product Overview

Precast concrete ditch sections purpose-designed for lawn bowling greens. Manufactured to provide consistent bowl rebound, long service life, and effective drainage. Suitable for straight runs and corner applications.

Material & Construction

• Concrete Strength: 45 MPa fibre-reinforced concrete
• Reinforcement: F62 steel mesh
• Finish: Smooth formed concrete surface, suitable for bowl rebound
• Manufacture: Factory precast for consistent quality and accuracy

Performance

• Rebound Angle: 35° bowl rebound angle
• Designed to provide predictable and uniform bowl return characteristics
• Top section built into it for ease of bowls rest

Corner Units

• Length: 435 X 435 X 432 mm

Drainage & Lifting

Straight Sections

• Drainage Holes: 2 × 100 mm diameter holes per section

Corner Units

• Drainage Holes: 1 × 100 mm diameter hole per corner unit

Lifting Provisions

• Lifting points incorporated through drainage holes
• Drainage holes reinforced to allow safe lifting and handling during installation
• New installations and refurbishment work
• Suitable for club, council, and competition-standard green

Installation Notes

• Units to be installed on a prepared solid rock base and level footing
• Appropriate certified lifting equipment to be used
• Drainage to be connected as required to site drainage system
